Departure from Marrakech to the capital of the Souss region at 7:00 am. Agadir is a Berber word of Phoenician origin meaning “collective granary or fortified village”. Even today, this word is still present in the Souss region and refers to a kind of store for all the fortunes of the tribe.
Leave the liveliness of Marrakech and spend the day in one of the most famous seaside resorts in Morocco. We will start the visits by admiring the picturesque view of the bay from the medieval quarter of Kasbah Oufellah. It is a citadel, at a height of 236 meters offers a splendid view of the bay of Agadir.
After visiting the fishing port, a walk on the cornice of Agadir beach which extends for about 10 km. Then we will visit the valley of birds and an argan oil cooperative where you can get more information on food and cosmetic products based on argan oil.
After lunch we will discover the history of Agadir with a visit to the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions, with its exhibitions of ancient Berber jewelry, pottery, carpets, woodwork and other objects.
The last stop is a brief visit to the El Had souks. At the end of a magnificent tour.
